Arduard Road
Intersection Upgrade

Project overview

Reconstruction of the Arduard Road intersection in Blackwater with new traffic lights, widening and turning lanes. Bellequip supplied a self-managing crew and plant on a schedule of rates, including a large team for a continuous rail shutdown over the Queen’s Birthday long weekend, organised on four weeks’ notice.

The 72-hour shutdown was completed incident-free and to the satisfaction of all client representatives.

With the roll up of the super weekend works completed early and the intersection re-opened to traffic this morning, I’d like to take a moment to thank the collective team (Bell’s, RoadTek, TMR and support Subcontractors and Suppliers) for their tireless efforts in achieving this significant milestone. The success (and more importantly incident-free) of this intense work operation is a testament to the collaborative approach by the Project Team Members and their dedication to seeing this project succeed.
